1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how BiiG Hands ("BiiG Hands", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, retains, discloses, and manages Personal Data in connection with our website, mobile applications, and digital platforms (collectively, the "Platform") used by our business clients, service personnel, and other users.
This Privacy Policy is issued in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (No. 26 of 2012) ("PDPA") and its subsidiary legislation, and the advisory guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore ("PDPC"). BiiG Hands is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals whose Personal Data we handle and to upholding the data protection obligations imposed by Singapore law.
By accessing or using the Platform, or by engaging BiiG Hands for any Services, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and our applicable Terms of Service (together, the "Agreement").
2. General Terms
In this Privacy Policy:
"BiiG Hands" refers to BiiG Hands, including its officers, employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors.
"You" or "User" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including business clients, service personnel, or any other individual whose Personal Data is processed by BiiG Hands.
"Platform" refers to BiiG Hands' website, mobile applications, and any other digital or technological tools used to deliver or facilitate the provision of Services.
"Terms of Service" refers to the legal terms governing your engagement with BiiG Hands, as may be updated from time to time.
"Personal Data" means data about an individual who can be identified from that data alone, or from that data together with other information to which BiiG Hands has or is likely to have access, as defined under the PDPA.
"PDPA" means the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore, as amended from time to time.
"PDPC" means the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore, the authority responsible for administering and enforcing the PDPA.
3. Collection of Personal Data
BiiG Hands collects Personal Data directly from you when you provide it to us, or from your use of the Platform, or from third parties as described below. The types of Personal Data we may collect include:
3.1 Contact Information
Such as your full name, email address, business address, and telephone number, which is necessary to set up an account or engage our Services.
3.2 Business and Billing Information
Such as your company name, Unique Entity Number (UEN), GST registration number, bank account details, and payment card information required for invoicing and payment processing.
3.3 Identity and Verification Information
Such as your NRIC number, FIN number, passport number, date of birth, or other government-issued identification, as may be required for identity verification, statutory compliance, or background screening purposes, to the extent permitted by Singapore law.
3.4 Service and Booking Information
Such as information about the services you are requesting, including the time, date, location of service, scope of work, and any specific instructions or preferences you provide.
3.5 User-Generated Content
Such as communications, feedback, reviews, photographs, or other information you submit through the Platform, via email, chat messaging, or other digital channels, including in the course of or in connection with a service engagement.
3.6 Personnel and Workforce Information
In respect of BiiG Hands' service personnel, contractors, and job applicants: employment history, educational qualifications, references, skills, certifications, and other information necessary to assess suitability for engagement or deployment.
3.7 Device and Technical Data
Including data about the type of device or browser you use, operating system, internet service provider, device settings, device identifiers (including IP address), and similar technical information collected automatically when you access the Platform.
3.8 Location Data
Including approximate or precise location information derived from your IP address, GPS signal, or other location-indicating technologies, to the extent enabled by your device settings and as necessary to deliver or coordinate Services.
3.9 Platform Usage Data
Including information about your activities on the Platform, pages and features accessed, time and duration of visits, and interactions with communications sent by BiiG Hands.
3.10 Third Party Information
Where you are referred to BiiG Hands through a partner organisation, or where a business client provides information about its own personnel or authorised representatives in connection with a service engagement, BiiG Hands may receive information such as name, contact details, job title, and business information from those third parties.
3.11 Cookies and Similar Technologies
BiiG Hands uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform in accordance with our Cookie Policy. These technologies may collect certain information about your device and browsing behaviour. You may manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or as described in our Cookie Policy.
4. Purposes for Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data
BiiG Hands collects, uses, and discloses Personal Data for the following purposes, in accordance with the PDPA. Under the PDPA, BiiG Hands relies on one or more of the following legal bases: (a) your deemed or express consent; (b) a legitimate interest of BiiG Hands or a third party that is not outweighed by the individual's interests; (c) compliance with a legal obligation; or (d) contractual necessity.
4.1 Provision and Operation of Services
To operate and make available the Platform; to connect clients with service personnel; to schedule, coordinate, and deliver services at client premises; and to process payments and issue invoices. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.
4.2 Account Management and Client Relationship
To create and manage your account; to verify your identity; to communicate with you regarding your engagements; and to manage the ongoing business relationship between BiiG Hands and you.
4.3 Billing, Payment, and Fraud Prevention
To process payments; to issue tax invoices compliant with Singapore GST requirements; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions; and to ensure the security of financial transactions on the Platform.
4.4 Safety and Security
To ensure the safety of our users and service personnel, both on and off the Platform; to conduct identity verification and background screening of service personnel as permitted by Singapore law; and to maintain the integrity and security of the Platform.
4.5 Legal and Regulatory Compliance
To comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulations, including the PDPA, the Employment Act 1968, the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006, the Income Tax Act 1947, the Goods and Services Tax Act 1993, and any other applicable legislation; to respond to lawful requests from courts, law enforcement, or government authorities; and to enforce our Terms of Service and contractual rights.
4.6 Communications and Marketing
To send you transactional communications related to your account or service engagements; and, where you have provided consent, to send you promotional communications about BiiG Hands' services, offers, and updates. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time as described in Section 7.
4.7 Service Improvement and Analytics
To analyse usage of the Platform; to conduct internal research and data analytics; and to improve the quality and delivery of our Services. Where such processing involves Personal Data, BiiG Hands relies on its legitimate interests, balanced against the rights of individuals.
4.8 Dispute Resolution and Legal Claims
To investigate, resolve, and respond to complaints, disputes, and legal claims arising in connection with the use of the Platform or the provision of Services; and to protect BiiG Hands' legal rights and interests.
4.9 Recruitment and Workforce Management
To evaluate and process applications from prospective service personnel and employees; to manage engagement, deployment, and performance of service personnel; and to comply with employment-related legal obligations under Singapore law.
5. Disclosure of Personal Data
BiiG Hands may disclose Personal Data to third parties in the following circumstances, subject at all times to the requirements of the PDPA:
5.1 Service Providers and Data Intermediaries
BiiG Hands engages third-party service providers and data intermediaries to support its operations. These parties process Personal Data on BiiG Hands' behalf and under its instructions, and include providers of: email and communications services; identity verification and background screening services (as permitted by Singapore law); fraud detection and prevention services; payment processing and invoicing services; customer relationship management systems; data analytics and business intelligence platforms; IT infrastructure and cloud hosting services; and technical support services. BiiG Hands contractually requires these parties to protect Personal Data in a manner consistent with the PDPA.
5.2 Business Clients and Service Personnel
In the course of facilitating a service engagement, BiiG Hands may share relevant contact or operational information between a business client and the service personnel assigned to carry out the engagement, to the extent necessary to perform the services.
5.3 Partner Organisations
Where you are referred to BiiG Hands through a partner organisation, or where you participate in a joint promotion or offer, BiiG Hands may share limited Personal Data with that partner to fulfil the relevant services or promotion.
5.4 Legal and Regulatory Obligations
BiiG Hands may disclose Personal Data to courts, law enforcement agencies, government ministries, statutory boards (including the PDPC, the Ministry of Manpower, and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore), or other authorised public bodies, where such disclosure is required or authorised by Singapore law, or necessary to protect BiiG Hands or any individual from harm or legal liability.
5.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of BiiG Hands' business or assets, Personal Data may be disclosed to prospective or actual acquirers, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements and compliance with the PDPA.
5.6 Advertising and Analytics Partners
BiiG Hands may share certain Platform usage and demographic information with advertising and analytics partners for the purpose of delivering relevant communications and improving the Platform experience. Where such sharing constitutes use of Personal Data for a secondary purpose, BiiG Hands will seek your consent or rely on a recognised exception under the PDPA.
5.7 Dispute Resolution
BiiG Hands may disclose Personal Data to authorised representatives or to the relevant parties where disclosure is necessary to investigate, mediate, or resolve a dispute arising from a service engagement or use of the Platform.
6. Transfer of Personal Data Overseas
The PDPA imposes obligations on BiiG Hands when transferring Personal Data to recipients outside Singapore. BiiG Hands may transfer Personal Data to third-party service providers or partners located in other jurisdictions where this is necessary for operational purposes (for example, cloud hosting or software providers with infrastructure located overseas).
Where BiiG Hands transfers Personal Data outside Singapore, it will comply with Part X (Transfer Limitation Obligation) of the PDPA by ensuring that the recipient provides a standard of protection to the Personal Data that is at least comparable to the protection afforded under the PDPA. This may be achieved through contractual arrangements (such as data transfer agreements incorporating the PDPC's model clauses), binding corporate rules, or other legally recognised mechanisms.
By engaging BiiG Hands or using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data overseas in the circumstances described above, subject to the safeguards set out in this Section.
7. Retention of Personal Data
BiiG Hands retains Personal Data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable Singapore law. In determining the appropriate retention period, BiiG Hands considers: the nature and sensitivity of the Personal Data; the purposes for which the data was collected and whether those purposes have been fulfilled; legal, contractual, or statutory obligations to retain data for minimum prescribed periods; and the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure.
Once Personal Data is no longer required for any permitted purpose and there is no legal obligation to retain it, BiiG Hands will take reasonable steps to destroy, delete, or anonymise the Personal Data in a secure manner, in accordance with its internal data management policies and the PDPA.
Where BiiG Hands has anonymised Personal Data such that it can no longer be reasonably used to identify an individual, BiiG Hands may retain and use such anonymised information without restriction.
8. Your Rights Under the PDPA
Subject to the exceptions and qualifications set out in the PDPA, individuals whose Personal Data is held by BiiG Hands have the following rights:
8.1 Right of Access
You have the right to request access to the Personal Data that BiiG Hands holds about you and to information about how BiiG Hands has used or disclosed your Personal Data in the twelve (12) months preceding your request. BiiG Hands will respond to a valid access request within a reasonable period and at an administrative fee not exceeding that prescribed by the PDPC.
8.2 Right of Correction
You have the right to request that BiiG Hands correct any error or omission in the Personal Data that it holds about you. BiiG Hands will correct such data as soon as practicable, and will send the corrected Personal Data to organisations to which the data was disclosed in the previous twelve (12) months, unless such notification is not reasonably practicable or is not required in the circumstances.
8.3 Right to Withdraw Consent
Where BiiG Hands processes your Personal Data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting BiiG Hands as set out in Section 10 below, or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing communication. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal, and BiiG Hands will notify you of the likely consequences of withdrawing consent (for example, inability to continue providing certain Services).
8.4 Right to Opt Out of Marketing Communications
You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from BiiG Hands at any time by: clicking the unsubscribe link in any promotional email; replying "STOP" to any promotional SMS; updating your notification preferences in your account settings on the Platform; or contacting BiiG Hands directly as set out in Section 10. BiiG Hands will process opt-out requests promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days. Even after opting out of marketing communications, BiiG Hands may continue to send you transactional communications necessary to the delivery of Services or management of your account.
8.5 Do Not Call (DNC) Registry
BiiG Hands complies with the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA. BiiG Hands will not send marketing messages by voice call, SMS, or fax to Singapore telephone numbers registered on the national DNC Registry, unless an applicable exception under the PDPA applies (for example, where you have given BiiG Hands clear and unambiguous consent to contact you on that number for marketing purposes).
8.6 Data Portability (Advisory Guideline Provisions)
In accordance with the PDPC's Advisory Guidelines on the PDPA for Selected Topics and any applicable regulations on data portability, where BiiG Hands is required to make Personal Data available in a portable format, BiiG Hands will do so in a machine-readable format on your request, to the extent technically feasible and in the manner prescribed by the PDPA and any applicable regulations.
9. Protection of Personal Data
BiiG Hands takes its obligation under the Protection Obligation of the PDPA seriously. BiiG Hands has implemented reasonable and appropriate technical, organisational, and administrative security measures to protect Personal Data in its possession or under its control from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.
These measures include, where appropriate: encryption of data in transit and at rest; access controls and authentication mechanisms; regular security assessments and audits; staff training on data protection obligations; and contractual requirements on third-party service providers to maintain equivalent security standards.
In the event of a data breach involving Personal Data that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals, BiiG Hands will notify the PDPC and affected individuals in accordance with the Mandatory Data Breach Notification requirements under the PDPA (Part VIA) and the Personal Data Protection (Notification of Data Breaches) Regulations 2021, within the prescribed timeframes.

11. Amendments to This Privacy Policy
BiiG Hands may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, Singapore law, or the PDPC's guidelines and advisory guidelines. Where material changes are made, BiiG Hands will notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Platform or by sending you a direct notification through the contact details held on file.
The updated Privacy Policy will take effect from the date it is posted on the Platform, unless a later effective date is specified. Your continued use of the Platform or engagement of BiiG Hands' Services following notification of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes, to the extent permitted by the PDPA.
The version of this Privacy Policy currently in effect is dated 1 April 2026. BiiG Hands encourages you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, and shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the applicable Terms of Service.
